New Accusations of Barack Hussein Obama being Muslim: The case of Taqqiyah-Tree-Jihad

Barack Hussein Plants Tree

Barack Hussein Plants Tree

The 2008 Presidential election was marred by accusations that Barack Hussein Obama was a “Mooslim,” “Mohammedan” or an “Islamic.” In response to the accusations, Barack Hussein Obama redundantly pointed out that he had been going to the same Church for almost 20 years and was a committed Christian. He told Christianity Today, “I am a Christian, and I am a devout Christian.”

Media personality Sean Hannity of Fox News was quoted as stating, “Barack hoped that if he kept repeating that he was a Christian it would be enough to extinguish the facts and questions creeping up about his associations and history as a Mooslim but we are uncovering leads in his Islamicness.”

Hannity is referring to new startling evidence that sheds light on the direct link between Barack Hussein Obama and what some call his “Mohammedan nature.”

In what experts are describing as another underhanded swipe at American values and mockery of our forefathers Barack Hussein Obama has called for the planting of trees, a well known Mooslim practice.

The President said, “I got into politics for this, to plant trees and one way to conserve energy, reduce carbon emissions, secure our borders and improve our image in the world is for us to plant trees. It’s a win-win for all Americans.”

Not all believe his intentions are to help safe guard America.

“This is an affront to our country and those men and women who died for that flag and the right for Hussein to plant those trees,” said a forlorn Joe the plumber in Real Town America, Texas.

He went on to say, “Let me say it plain for ya: George Washington cut down trees! We all know he cut down the cherry tree and Husseini wants to plant ‘em. That ain’t Christian, that ain’t American…what more evidence do ya need that he’s a Mooslim?”

George Washington

George Washington

According to experts on Global Terrorism and Islam such as Robert Spencer of the Foundation for the Reconquista of Anatolia, “The fact that Barack Hussein Obama was educated in a Madrassa [Islamic seminary] should have set alarm bells going…In 2004 when Obama was running for the Senate in Illinois, I was the only one drawing attention to this, like Paul Revere. I was shouting ‘The Mooslims are coming! The Mooslims are coming’ but no one paid any attention…they never do.”

Spencer speculated that the tree planting was evidence of a Mooslim practice known as Taqiyya, or dissimilation, “Taqqiyah is pretty much a practice where Mooslims deceive infidel Christians and others by hiding the fact that they are Mooslim while outwardly apostasizing. It is all part of a stealth Jihad, and based on the Koran and Hadith [Islamic sayings] it seems planting trees is an important part of that. Barack Hussein Obama is hiding his Islamicness while appearing as a Christian–this is Taqqiyah-Tree-Jihad.”

When asked what the connection was between the planting of trees and Obama being Mooslim, Islamic Scholar Daniel Pipes barraged us with Islamic quotes saying,

“It’s quite simple. If you only go to the texts they speak for themselves. Look at what their Prophet Mohammed said, If a Muslim plants a tree.. and a bird, a person or an animal eats from it, it will be counted as a charity for him.“(Bukhari and Muslim)

Whoever plants a tree is rewarded by Allah as much as the produce grown in that tree.’ (Musnad)

‘Whoever plants a tree and diligently looks after it until it matures and bears fruit is rewarded,’ (Musnad)

‘Whoever plants a tree and it matures, Allah plants a tree in paradise for that person.’ (Musnad).

Kahanist chairwoman Pamela Geller author of the forthcoming book Obama’s Father was Malcolm X! vented, “We gotta cut them off at the knees. These barbarians! It’s civilized man versus the barbarians and we got the chief barbarian in the White House now. The Mooslims are taking over–wake up America!”

We contacted the White House for comment and were told the President had “other pressing engagements”. But a source from the President’s staff disputed the Islam experts telling us on the condition of anonymity that “Barack is just a wily politician and he really knows the threat we are facing and in fact this is a tactical move on his part. On the one hand he is reaching out to the Mooslim world and saying, ‘Hey I understand you, look I plant trees,’ on the other hand he knows that Islamic texts state that during Jihad it is prohibited to cut down trees. Barack wants to plant as many trees so that when the terrorists come they won’t be able to fight properly.”

"The Media Loved Hitler Too...."

This load of schlock comes via Atlas Shrugs. I don't have time at all to post on it, but I thought I'd make you all aware of this pathetic attempt to expose the love of the people and media of the days prior to WWII for Hitler--as compared to....could it be....OBAMA?

More is at Hates of Vienna, as linked in the AS piece. I'll look at it more when I get home when I ever have time today....which is to say probably tomorrow, but still, this warranted a post. And a question of the day: do Geller and Baron Oddity really believe the shit they shovel or are they blogging versions of shock jocks? Rather, Baron believes it all. Does Pamela Geller?

Summer Glau Look-Alike Contest

OK, time for some fun away from the "counter-jihadis" for a bit. In honor of the new Terminator film (which I don't consider canon, being the geek that I am), I'm offering up a look-alike contest for another Terminator franchise I don't consider canon, "The Sarah Connor Chronicles". This is a look-alike contest for actress Summer Glau who plays a protector Terminator in the show called "Cameron". She is pictured above. Here are my entries:

Please leave links or pic in the comments to enter my little itty bitty contest here!

Geller Back in Israel National News

Well, Pamela Geller is now posting that she has yet another article in Israel National News. I've been told here that this rag is one of the farthest right one can get. I must admit though that writing of the torture and murder of Ilan Halimi is (though a bit out-dated) a good subject, though Pammycakes is treating the recent press of the trial as a "cover-up":

The abduction and murder in Paris of a young Jewish man by a gang of Muslim immigrants calling themselves the Barbarians shocked the whole of France in 2006. But now that the accused are on trial - silence.

A French judge has ordered the latest issue of the magazine Choc ("shock") removed from the shelves. The cover showed a man with duct tape completely covering his head, except for a small opening around his nostrils. His
Recitation of verses from the Koran, while Ilan's tortured screams could be heard in the background.
nose is bloody. His hands are also bound with duct tape.

It was a photo of Ilan Halimi, the 23-year-old Parisian Jew who was kidnapped and tortured for 24 days by the Barbarians. His captors took the picture and sent it to his family. A lawyer for Halimi's family had complained about the magazine, but Choc's editor-in-chief Paul Payan responded: "Of course, we understand the anguish of the parents and, of course, we share their anguish.... But what's so harrowing is not the publication of this photo. What's harrowing is what it represents, what happened, the reality behind it."

It really is a shame if there is nothing getting out about Halimi's murder, but as we all know, the harder one tries to cover something up the more it gets out there, and not just through the Israel National News. While promoting the truth about Halimi is a good thing, I can't help but seeing in this AS post a bit more of self-promotion--go figure.

Charles Reports on the "Sekrit Jeeehod" Summit

http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/33745_Sekrit_
Counter-Jihad_Summit_Held/comments/#ctop
Hat-tip Jeppo

Well, as is now the norm, I report on some anti-LGF type of activity and all the sudden it's over at LGF with no credit to me. I'm getting depressed over here, Charles! Come on, give me some credit! OK, I'm just kidding. I just report on this crap, and that Charles is attacking something that appeared only over at GoV (out of the blogs we cover), is rather a good thing. Baron Oddity and his genocidal tendencies need to be covered by the biggest blogs that will cover it. Anyways, here's Charles:

Sekrit Counter-Jihad Summit Held

Sun, May 24, 2009 at 4:51:46 pm PDT

Another “counter-jihad summit” was held last weekend at a secret, highly secure location somewhere in the wilds of Muslim-occupied Copenhagen. Somehow the brave anti-jihad warriors managed to avoid being beheaded.

OK, is it just me, or is Charles' demeaning posts about these freaks starting to get funnier and funnier? That bit of prose was followed by this pic:

OK, back to Charles:

UPDATE at 5/24/09 5:20:46 pm:

Speaking of the fascist sympathizers at Gates of Vienna (linked above), you can now find their articles at the website of the Czech Republic’s National Party — an extreme right-wing group allied with the neo-Nazi British National Party, that advocates a ‘Final Solution’ to the gypsy problem.

A far-right party in Czech Republic which demanded a ‘final solution’ to the issue of gypsies has been exposed as having strong links with the BNP in Britain.

The National Party in Prague stunned mainstream politicians and viewers with an electioneering ad using Nazi-era rhetoric that called for a ‘final solution to the gypsy issue’.

In WW2 the highest echelons of the Nazi party in Germany sought the ‘final solution to the Jewish question’ – the euphemism which covered the industrial-scale slaughter of six million men, women and children in the extermination camps.

In the tasteless Czech ad the camera pans over dishevelled and dirty-looking Roma women and children, intended to show them in the worst possible light, before a voice-over says: ‘We call for final solution to the gypsy issue’.

There were also slogans on screen such as ‘Stop black racism,’ ‘No favouring of Gypsies’, and ‘We don’t want black racists among us’. Czech bigots routinely refer to Roma people as blacks.

The National Party’s Petra Edelmannova was a featured speaker at the recent “Pro-Köln” demonstration in Germany; other scheduled speakers included Robert Spencer of jihadwatch.org and Pamela Geller of atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com, who backed out when their planned participation was exposed by LGF.

Edelmannova’s appearance at “Pro-Köln” was hyped recently by ... you guessed it ... Gates of Vienna.

OK, despite his past and his unwillingness to post a straight-up apology for that past, Charles really is doing a good job of going after these little bloggers playing at being good little brown shirts. I must commend Charles yet again for this attitude and coverage of a pathetic little event, though an event that can grow via the web and Baron's best efforts. Just remember, Fred Phelps' "movement" was almost dead locally until the Phelps family (somehow) figured out the web. Baron and his near genocidal tendencies are the same, especially with his alliance with bloggers like Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer. LGF is (though attacked heartily by those at LGF2 among other sites--like GoV) now standing as a wall against these little fascists and I can only commend Charles for the stance he has taken when it comes to these little bastards. Whether it is true emotion or merely vendetta, it is helping. Just look at some of the comments:

About the "counter-jihad" going secret- I don't understand it. I thought they were proud of their work and there were no issues with their alliance because their friends are pure as the driven snow. So why the secrecy?

I'm glad this thread is up. Now this comment is on-topic:

Notice how when a movement is discredited, it morphs into a (pretended) free-speech movement? "Oh, we're not creationists... we just want equal time in the classroom." "Oh, we're not neo-Nazis... we just want to reopen the debate over the so-called Holocaust."

And now, the pro-Koeln guys are gathering together in a "Free Speech International" conclave.

30 Cato the Elder 5/24/09 5:05:18 pm reply quote

LOL.

Some of the most brilliant minds of the Western world were present in Steen’s flat on those two nights.

Then Pamela tottered in, and the average IQ went to 64.

57 Charles 5/24/09 5:22:42 pm reply quote

See the update above for more interesting connections between the brave anti-jihad bloggers of Gates of Vienna and the Czech National Party -- who advocate a 'final solution' for gypsies in the Czech Republic.

I'll leave the rest for you folks to read, but Charles is really starting to do his research on this topic and not just sticking to creationists, banning people and hatin Ron Paul. This research is going to prove very interesting in this fight, especially as Spencer did state a ways back that he wasn't going to leave these attacks by Johnson unanswered. For my part, I say keep it up, Charles. Spencer runs a hate site and you can take him down, just check those comments!

"Slouching Towards Copenhagen"

I'm going to leave this one short, this is just Baron Bodissey's partial description of the latest "Counter-Jihad Summit" in Copenhagen which he attended, though he's the only person in our little cadre of bloggers we write up to be writing about it at all (and it has SUCH a lovely graphic too!!). At any rate, here's a bit of the once and future Baron's description:

We’ve come a long way in just a little over two years.

The first Counterjihad Summit was held in Copenhagen back in April 2007, and the European and North American networks have been developing continuously since then. CVF — which has recently been folded into the larger and more comprehensive International Civil Liberties Alliance — followed up with Counterjihad Brussels 2007 and Counterjihad Vienna 2008.

Last weekend a group of like-minded people convened in Copenhagen for Counterjihad 2009. Unlike some of our previous efforts, this was a working meeting, and did not feature a slate of prominent speakers in a conference format. It was designed to strengthen, extend, and deepen the existing networks of anti-jihad activists and bloggers.

Egads! It looks like even Charles Johnson cannot post enough to keep these things from happening (since he's the one they're blaming, at least). No, we don't want these to go a "long way in two years". My only hope is that there are only a few people there hiding behind fancy graphics.

Some of the most brilliant minds of the Western world were present in Steen’s flat on those two nights. If the world were organized rationally, these people would hold political office or be helping to form public policy in their respective countries. But, as it is, they have to use pseudonyms, hide their activities, and fly under the radar to avoid persecution for mounting a resistance to the destruction of their countries and their cultures.

Such is the sad level to which Western Civilization has sunk.

Given my imminent unemployment and reduced circumstances, Counterjihad Copenhagen 2009 will likely be my last such event for the foreseeable future. But we’ve come a long way in two years, and the Counterjihad network will function perfectly well in my absence.

Our initial goals have been met: we have formed a well-functioning decentralized network that connects different organizations and individuals together as they work towards a common goal. Information travels quickly and efficiently within this network and its associated organizations, providing an opportunity to plan and coordinate actions in different countries. Translations of relevant material into all major European languages is routine, and ensures that local groups do not remain isolated and atomized.

People know the obstacles and risks that they face when they volunteer for the Counterjihad. They are automatically stigmatized as “racists”, “xenophobes”, “neo-Nazis”, and “Islamophobes”. They risk losing their jobs and their livelihoods, and in some countries they can be prosecuted for their opinions under the laws against racial discrimination.

Yet still they join the resistance. This is a visible sign of the depth of feeling among ordinary people about the deliberate destruction of European culture by the transnational elites.

"Some of the most brilliant minds" in the West? Is this man smoking what Pamela Geller seems to be on? Ah well....I said I'd keep this one short. I hope it was enjoyed, especially the bit about it taking place in someone's flat. That part got my hopes up a bit. Just a bit.

Charles' Hate Mail Re: Pro Köln

Well, well, well. Charles work against Geller and Spencer and the Pro-Koln rally hasn't gone unnoticed. He has yet another post titled We Got Mail, and this isn't any friendly sort of mail, let me reassure you:
http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/33738_We_Got_Mail!

Several emails from a supporter of the “Pro-Köln” group in Germany provide a revealing (if disturbing) glimpse into the mindset of the people who are drawn to these fascist groups. Obscenities are left intact to give you the full experience.

(To recap, “Pro-Köln” is the group of neo-Nazi-linked “anti-jihadists” that announced Robert Spencer of jihadwatch.org and Pamela Geller of atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com as speakers at their meeting earlier this month — and then both Spencer and Geller backed out when their participation was exposed here at LGF, although they continue to attack me viciously and deny that “Pro-Köln” has any fascist or neo-Nazi connections.)

In the first one, our anonymous German admirer claims there were 1,000 people at their hatefest, even though photographs and articles published by German media showed less than 200 haters in attendance:
(links original and link back to other LGF posts)

Charles Johnson, you are a liar. There were almost 1,000 people at the anti-fascist congress. I was there. Pro Köln has photos on its website to prove it. Don`t you know that the German regular prints lies about Pro Köln because it fears this movement? Do you even care? Even more people would have come if assholes like you hadn’t tried to scare them off. You should have seen the assorted towelheads and anarcho-fascist thugs that tried to dirsupt us. Guess that’s the side we can find you on. By the way, if Israel is considered “fascist” by some it is because of its actions, not because some Jewish person appears on a stage with Pro Köln or not. Also, Berlusconi just came out and said “Italy does not want to become a multi-ethnic state.” So fuck you, Johnson.

Wow! What a charming way to promote the Pro-Koln Rally! I almost wish that Geller and Spencer HAD gone and hung out with people who use the term "towelhead", now that would have made for even better posting. Charles continues and quotes another bit of mail:

“Towelheads.” Isn’t that nice? And antisemitism too!

But those aren’t the only targets of this person’s hatred; he also loathes Bruce Bawer. Can you guess why?

AS for Bruce Bawer, how quickly he forgets that his fellow gay hero and anti-Islam crusader Pim Fortuy was ALSO roundly LIBELLED AS A NAZI BEFORE BEING KILLED BY AN ANIMAL-RIGHTS ACTIVIST TO “PREVENT A SECOND HITLER”. So Bawer is talking out of both sides of his queer arse. How about the treatment meted out to Michael Savage by the UK? Now you know what it feels it, brother. Welcome to the “fascist club”.

And just to complete the picture, our anonymous admirer added this (in an email sent on Mother’s Day):

The man with the offending “gallows” T-shirt was an infiltrated provacateur. He was NOT with Pro Köln asked to leave immediately. On the other hand, the counter-demonstrators were baying for our blood and screaming threats of violence and outrageous insults all day long. But you don`t give a fuck about that do you, you goddamn fucking liar! Fuck you and your mother!

And with that charming thought, we conclude this edition of “The Friends of Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller.”

Wow, I haven't seen hate mail like that since our friendly troll "Muslims Against Sharia" stopped calling me a "cocksucker" here. Charles should be rather proud IMHO to be getting abuse from that side of things, especially with the added credit of keeping other little Nazis away from the event. So, if we were keeping points here, I'd give Charles a goodly number for inciting rage in the neo-Nazis. Congrats Charles & the Lizards! Speaking of, the comments are never perfect, nor the lizards (but at least they're discussing); however, Charles has a few interesting comments there:

28 Charles 5/23/09 7:14:38 pm reply quote

re: #18 Killgore Trout

Islamists, Leftists and Eurofascists are agreeing that Israel is an opressive regime. Eurofascists, because they support it and Islamists and Leftists because they oppose it. Israel has enough PR problems but when people claim to tacitly support Israel for the same reasons others oppose it means there's a very serious problem. Israel is fighting for its survival and the support of ethnic nationalist movements is not at all helpful.

Groups like Vlaams Belang are pretending to be "pro-Israel" for one reason only -- to increase their political influence among the European right, and the American 'anti-jihad' bloggers. It's a complete fraud, and of course idiots like Pamela Geller are swallowing it whole.

re: #145 offendi

Just checking.

Because where I live, there don't seem to be any radical Muslims taking over my culture. Is it possible that the policies of GW Bush might have actually had an effect on the spread of jihadism?

Or are we all doomed unless we wake up and stop trying to "explain it away?"

Warning though, unless you want to read about tea parties and a LOT about Ron Paul, don't bother much with them. If I missed something good, please drop it in the comments!

Baron Bodissey on Charles' Latest "Attack on Wilders"

(Hat-Tip Jeppo) Well, Baron over at Gates of Vienna has prepared a response to Charles Johnson's latest "attack" on Dutch MP Geert Wilders, though it's in the form of a write-up from their "Flemish correspondent VH". I'm assuming that's the "Letter to Geert Wilders" (covered with links by us here) from LGF a few days ago regarding Wilders lack of response to Charles to an email Charles wrote him back in December. In other words, Charles dug up a reason to restart the Wars.

Back to Baron's post for now though:

From our Flemish correspondent VH comes this report about the recent attack on Geert Wilders at Little Green Footballs:

Here is a Dutch response to the latest Charles Johnson scandal.

He keeps unmasking himself as the sock puppet of European fascists like Antifa and Blokwatch. He demands that Geert Wilders comply with the demands of Master CJ himself, an ignorant uninformed blogger, to join the “cordon sanitaire” against Vlaams Belang.

Geert Wilders did not reply to his pathetic email, and is now cursed and threatened by CJ: “I will no longer support him even to the extent I described in this email”. CJ, who has no idea of what is going on in Europe, writes to Wilders: “I’ve done enough research [sic!] into the group to convince me that their current pose of moderation is a false front.”

Duns Ouray, a noted writer for HetVrijeVolk.com (and who is from the group that worked with Theo van Gogh), responds (in English) at HVV:

The curious case of Charles Johnson

Admittedly, Charles Johnson has earned his stripes as a blogger. But now, he gets a little bit ahead of himself.

Charles Johnson has written Geert Wilders an e-mail, to which Wilders has never responded. This, according to Charles “speaks volumes”. It is evidence that Wilders is becoming “more extreme.”

Charles is right. Anybody not replying to their e-mail is well underway to becoming an extremist. It is a historical fact that genocidists like Hitler, Stalin and Mao never answered a single e-mail. So, there!

In fact, I remember writing Charles an e-mail a couple of years ago. And I believe that he never replied. Which, of course, “speaks volumes”…

- - - - - - - - -

All-knowing Charles Johnson also mentions “that the charge that Wilders is pandering to bigots and haters is true.” Again, I take my hat off to Johnson. From California, Charles has an opinion on the legal and moral merits of this case which is governed by Dutch law.

I’m reminded of the words of the great philosopher Clint Eastwood: “Opinions are like a**holes, everybody has got one.”

Except for Gates of Vienna, where assholes abound in great numbers. But wait! "VH" has a bit more for us:

VH adds this comment:

The Charles Johnson email reminds me of a letter written by the former PvdA (Socialists) fraction leader and then-mayor of Groningen, Jacques Wallage in 2003. Wallage wrote his letter to the fraction leader of the VVD (center-right liberals) in parliament, Jozias van Aartsen, urging him to remove Ayaan Hirsi Ali from the VVD party and thus from parliament.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali had visited an Islamic school and openly questioned Islam there. Jacques Wallage, who himself is one of the architects of the mass immigration in the Netherlands wrote to Van Aartsen:

How on earth it comes to the mind of a member of parliament to make sneering comments on the god of the Muslims (“where is Allah then, I see him nowhere”) in front of young children, is a mystery to me.

Honestly. I can only assume that VH was trying to make sense in this "post" of sorts. I only regret that my Dutch became too rusty to read the Dutch press on these events (or the Flemish), but I'll dust it off and put it back to use just for you guys here. For now though, the Gatekeepers:

Blogger Fjordman said...

JS: Apparently he is, yes, although I ignore him as much as possible. I did visit LGF again a while ago for about ten minutes, which is the maximum amount of time I intend to waste on that site. I see one of the comments compares me to Aragorn in Lord of the Rings. I usually identify with either Gandalf or Frodo, actually, especially since the name "Gandalf" probably originates from Norwegian mythology. But Aragorn is fine, I can live with that.

So, which LOTR character is Mr. Johnson? He is not powerful enough to be Sauron, not smart enough to be Saruman and not handsome enough to be Gollum. Grima Wormtongue, maybe? Or perhaps that orc who tried to eat Merry and Pippin in The Two Towers?

http://littlegreenfootballs.com/showc/841/7147621

A lot of these people seem to have a Lord of the Rings complex. With Muslims as sub-human orcs, of course. The Baron as King Theoden, Dymphna as Galadriel, Fjordman as a windy Aragorn, the elusive Hugh Fitzgerald as Legolas? That would make Spencer Gimli, I guess.
5/22/2009 10:27 AM
(emphasis definitely mine)

Tell me I did not just read that in Fjordman's comment. If I read one more LOTR comparison to the "counter-jihadosphere" I might lose my cookies, as it were. So, the ever-anonymous "Fjordman" is OK with being Aragorn to people? The man who was destined to be King? But more comfortable with being Gandalf due to his nationalist leanings/ Cute, so cute.

Yes Fjordman, your pathetic essays have not served you well, nor the "research" you must be doing. And don't pull out the LOTR comparisons with us around over here. Yes, in fact, the name "Gandalf" IS from Norse mythology. From the Ballad of Svipdag and Snorri Sturluson gives a list of all the dwarves in Norse mythology, of which one name is "Gandalf". Certainly such a "historian" and a Scandinavian one at that would know his Sturluson! But no, another bit Fjordman let down. Just as expected.

And typically for Conservative Swede to play along:

Blogger Conservative Swede said...

Mecca is Mordor and George Soros Saruman. José Manuel Barroso is nominated as Gollum together with Gordon Brown and Sarkozy.

And Obama? He's the ring!

One Child to rule them all, One Child to find them,
One Child to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mecca where the Shadows lie
5/22/2009 4:01 PM

I just hope that these antics amuse those LOTR fans out here even if they are in the comments. Oh, why do they always sink to this comparison? Tolkien himself hated allegory and disavowed anyone's notions (while he still lived) that his works stood for anything reflecting anything in reality. Then again, these people live to insult, so it's not entirely unexpected.

Spencer Goes GAGA Over New Atlas Article

Well, American Thinker just keeps going with their newest find, Pamela Geller. Her biggest fan, Robert Spencer, keeps going with the write-ups as well. This time Pamela has written "Fast Times at Disaster High", a screed that ends with, "But one thing is painfully clear. Obama is destroying America.". Yeah yeah yeah, yada, yada, yada. The sky falls yet again. At least Pamela's finally getting some media coverage, it's just what she's always wanted. Dreams really can come true! Even for Robert Spencer;)

Charles on "Fascist Strategy of Entryism"

http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/33721_The_Fascist_Strategy_of_Entryism
Charles is really digging in trying to restart The Blog Wars. Considering that Spencer has said that he will NOT stop responding to Charles' attacks, this out to be good. Here's Charles:

The Fascist Strategy of Entryism

World | Thu, May 21, 2009 at 8:59:32 pm PDT

The leader of the fascist British National Party, Nick Griffin, makes his agenda very clear in this video clip, from a meeting of “white nationalists” in America in 2000. Standing next to Griffin: former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke.

Keep in mind as you watch: this is exactly the same strategy of “entryism” currently being used by groups like the Vlaams Belang, who are being promoted by the so-called “anti-jihad” bloggers like Pamela Geller of atlasshrugs, Robert Spencer of jihadwatch, the “International Free Press Society,” and “Baron Bodissey” and “Dymphna” at gatesofvienna.
(emphasis mine)

Here's the video he posted which links Nick Griffin of the BNP and neo-Nazis and other white nationalists here in the U.S.:

More from Charles:
UPDATE at 5/21/09 9:07:04 pm:

The Belgian Vlaams Belang group’s “entryism” involves pretending to be pro-Israel. Here’s a post about their deceptions by Belgian native Stephanie Maneles: Paranoia or Persecution? Belgium — a place where it is not only acceptable to hate Jews, it is recommended.

" The rise of the right-extremist “Vlaams Belang” political party has caused serious concern among Belgian Jews. Although the party claims to be a friend of the Jewish people, its platform is worryingly similar to that of 1930 Germany.

One of their aims is the “abolition of administrative and educational facilities for French speakers.” Interestingly, Jews are widely known to be among the French speaking population of Flanders.

The party also advocates for “deportation of all immigrants who fail to assimilate” to Flemish culture.

Worst of all, the party advocates for “full and unconditional amnesty for people convicted for collaboration with Nazi Germany after World War II” and the “revocation of anti-racism, anti-Negationism and anti-discrimination legislation on the grounds of free speech.”

Many protesting groups have objected the party’s existence. There have been lawsuits and complaints filed against Vlaams Belang, yet the only thing they have changed over the years is the party’s name.

Terrifyingly, its popularity has slowly but surely grown, allowing the Vlaams Belang to become a prominent member of the Belgian parliament. Since the elections in 1999, the number of votes in favor of the party has doubled. Is the persecution still an illusion?"
(emphasis again mine)

Another "Counter-jihad" Summit? Honestly!

Well, I am behind the times here. Baron over at Gates of Vienna has reported on his latest travels, this time to a "Counter-Jihad Summit" or his "Scandinavian wanderings". His description reveals his utter disgust at Muslims in Europe:

On Friday, some of the meeting’s participants arrived early and took the train to Malmö to see what all the fuss was about. With the help of our Swedish contacts, we embarked on a safari that included the most important sights of the city.....

.....Ms. Sahlin is well-known to regular Gates of Vienna readers as a hijab-wearing Certified F**ker, not to mention one of Sweden’s most ardent spokescreatures for Multiculturalism. She is also a leader of the Social Democrats, and may become the next prime minister of Sweden if the SocDems regain power next year.

Well, I guess that's close as Baron can get to his "F Bomb". And
"spokescreatures"? Aww Baron, tell us how you really feel:

Rosengård is a large district with a number of neighborhoods and housing projects, some of which are notorious for their riotous and incendiary “youths”.

Youths were much in evidence, but since we toured the area during the daytime, they were restrained in their behavior. Life in Rosengård is relatively sedate until the sun goes down and the night is illuminated by the golden glow of gently burning tires and dumpsters.

Malmö: The suicide balconiesAmong the other famous sights of Rosengård are the “suicide balconies” of the apartment buildings. Festooned with satellite dishes, they are the scenes of recurrent tragedies: from the balcony railings young girls frequently and mysteriously fall or hurl themselves, often to their deaths.

.....Inside the southern entrance the discriminating shopper will find a selection of Arab shops, restaurants, and other businesses.

A clothing store makes an offer to bargain-hungry customers: “Buy a Hijab and Get a Free Present”.

The advertising signs on the window of one establishment are entirely in Arabic.

Malmö: Arab hairdresserThe signs outside a hairdressing salon are also in Arabic. Notice that the smartly-coiffed models in the pictures on the window show only women in hijab, with the advertised hairstyles covered up by veils. How can a discerning customer be certain of what hair-do she will get?

Just beyond Rosengård Centrum is the Herrgården housing estate, which consists of several high-rise buildings and a number of garden apartments along Ramels Väg....

....Visitors to Herrgården are greeted by a sign with the name of the estate presented in mock-Arabic script.

Just think of the implications: the municipal authorities of Malmö paid a professional agency to design and construct a sign which says, in effect, “This neighborhood is for Muslims ONLY.”

The mosque is far away from the Muslim housing estates in Rosengård. According to our Swedish guide, most of Rosengård’s Muslims worship at the “basement mosques”, and not the fancy one with the minarets paid for by Saudi money.

But there it stands, anyway: an assertion of political supremacy, claiming for the Ummah with its dome and minarets the sacred territory of Rosengård.

One wonders if Baron gets horribly upset when Christian Arabs move here and found Orthodox Churches. Of course the Muslims of Rosengård would build mosques. What's Baron going to do, try to give them all computer viruses?

I've been off a few days, so I will scrape up the rest of the information about this bit of fun the "counter-jihadis" had in Scandinavia. I'm sure Pammycakes even has so good pictures (not that Baron doesn't, just go to the link if you care to see the "suicide balconies" and other such sightings, including one particularly offensive (to Baron) mosque.

Charles' Letter to Geert Wilders

http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/33705_My_Email_to_Geert_Wilders
Well, well, well, the fighting may just be starting again. Charles has posted an email he wrote back in December to Dutch MP Geert Wilders:

Dear Mr. Wilders,

As I’m sure you’ve heard, I am a US blogger who’s very opposed to allowing the Belgian Vlaams Belang party to be involved in any ‘anti-jihad’ movements. I feel that the inclusion of the VB can only damage the reputation and effectiveness of the effort to stop the global jihad, among the vast majority of people — and especially in the US, where any hint of fascism is political poison.

Let me say I admire your efforts against the spread of extremist Islam, although I may not agree with all your positions — and I’ve had great respect for your policy of keeping your distance from the neo-fascists.

But in addition to the political considerations, I’ve done enough research into the group to convince me that their current pose of moderation is a false front. I believe they truly are fascist in origin and in current intentions. I know that some people disagree with this, but I believe strongly that letting this group participate in anti-jihad efforts would be a very large mistake, from both a moral and a practical perspective.

Given that some recent news reports have said you are considering forming an alliance with them, I hope you’ll reconsider.

Would you like to make a statement on this matter for me to publish at LGF? I’ll publish whatever you write without editing.

Sincerely,

Charles Johnson
littlegreenfootballs.com

Well, as it is, I ended up publishing it with no editing. It's just that Geert didn't write back. Sad, as most Dutchmen I know are wonderful correspondents:

I received no answer — and that speaks volumes.

Since I sent this email, Wilders’ public opinions have become even more extreme, to the point where he now advocates stripping Muslims of their right to freedom of religion — and I will no longer support him even to the extent I described in this email.

Today the Netherlands Public Prosecutor’s Office announced that they’re going to proceed with the prosecution of Geert Wilders for inciting hatred and discrimination — and while I continue to believe “hate crime” laws are fundamentally wrong, the charge that Wilders is pandering to bigots and haters is true.

I must admit that I agree with Johnson on the "hate speech" stance, but when one incites enough people to violence or just plain old bigotry, what do you do with them? Keep in mind as well that Wilders is under Dutch law here, not American.

On the bright side though, he probably will get a response from what has become the Spencer/Geller blob. Go check out the lizards' comments for some more fun. I just don't feel like posting them today.

Pamela Geller Quotes of the Day

Oh boy, here are a few real doozies from one post over at Atlas Shrugs, JEWISH HOMELAND ALERT: Stealing Jerusalem from the Jews:

No one can take the Jewish homeland from the Jews. Period. Jerusalem is ours. The whole world can strong arm the little Jew all they want. Good will triumph. This I promise you. This century's Nazis are the same as the last century's Nazis (only more barbaric and really badly dressed).

(...)

Oh and BTW, there is no such thing as a "Palestinian" . N-O S-U-C-H T-H-I-N--G. What they should be called is Arafatbastards. After all, that blood thirsty terror master made all that "Palestinian" marketing shiz up.

Oh boy. What do you even do about someone whose brain has been beamed so far from reality? Honestly! "No one can take the Jewish homeland....", "there is no such thing as a "Palestinian..."?!?!

And that's what makes this quote of the day from Pamela-World.

Gates of Vienna Quote of the Day

This comment comes from a rather interesting post by Dymphna in which she is supporting (as usual) a far-right European political party, this time the BNP. Admittedly, I'm as horrified as she is that mail carriers in Britain are able to simply chuck BNP mail in the trash bins if they find it offensive, rather than delivering it to the addressee. That's going too far. I'm not going to praise the BNP while going on about the matters of The Royal Mail, however. Nor would I allow this comment (after a few from "Fjordman", of course):

Blogger Profitsbeard said...

So throwing Korans in the dust bin would be okay for postal workers who found it offensive?

Sure.

Let's have that case.

(Wish I were a Brit mailman for a day.)
5/15/2009 7:30 PM

I'm not sure how many Qur'ans go through the post in Britain (or most Western countries), but WTF?!? And that "WTF" earns this the GoV quote of the day (or possibly the week, but one never knows what Baron Oddity will pop up with next). Actually, Dymphna did leave a comment on this post, but of course, it's just as absurd as her rantings about the BNP:

Blogger Dymphna said...

@Kenny--

A recent survey showed that BNP policies were supported by significant numbers of Brits, but when they were told they were BNP policies the approval ratings dropped...

The same thing happened in the US campaign. Some reporters took the policies of the Republican Party and presented them to a number of urban blacks, in a series of set up questions -- e.g., "so Obama is opposed totally to any form of abortion. How do feel about that?"

If Obama was for it, so were they. They even approved Sarah Palin as his vice president, because "that's who Obama chose".

Never underestimate ignorance.

Ahhh, ignorance never felt so good;)

Pammycakes Livid Over Obama Shoes (?!?!)

Well, when they all stop fighting I use that as an opportunity to show how absurd the posts are that don't deal with The Great Soap Opera--like this one over at Atlas Shrugs. OK, we all know that catalogs and websites will try to sell whatever they can, even the ugly or absurd. Or collectible. Or fan merchandise. Or propaganda merchandise (such as that sold here by Pamela herself). Pamela Geller, however thinks that "this is outta hand":

Obama Shoes!

This is outta hand. Goebbels is taking notes is his grave (Hat tip Joe L)

All the 'merchandising'...Allison wrote: "every catalog I open has some bat*#*# crazy Obama product and now this"....

I needn't ask how happy she'd be to share some shoes if they were celebrating Ann Coulter or even former Presidents such as either Bush or Reagan. How about it, Jessica Simpson style 5 inchers with Ann Coulter's image on them? She'd VLOG herself wearing nothing but the shoes and a bikini. But Obama shoes bring on yet another Nazi reference? And a reference to the rhetorician in chief of the Nazi Regime of all people? It all started with rhetoric, Pamela, dehumanizing rhetoric towards one religious group, and ended up with "hundreds of Gellers dead" as you once said. Now you invoke Goebbels name because some idiot is trying to make money off of Obama's image with shoes for his fans? Irony alert anyone? I'll try to add an "irony alert" widget to posts here for you all to press. "Batshit crazy" she says? Pamela, turn that around, apply to self, look in the mirror without focusing on whatever needs surgery next, and see the batshit crazy of the entire picture.

This wouldn't be complete without the lovely comments, with the last one taking it's cue from the Goebbels reference:

Disgusting BUT at least with those shoes on you're walking all over the shcmuck.

What's next panties? You can imagine what can be done then.

Just a thought. Does the great pretender get royalty payments??

I wonder if these shoes are "Made in America" or China. Somebody should find out. Aren't we supposed to buy American?

Ahhhh yes, the power of the State "to silence critics". Sure thing. Sure is working, too. With all of this State sanctioned silencing, somehow I still have plenty of wingnuts to post on. Let me know when Obama finally does this and when it goes beyond the paranoia of these Chicken Littles....HAHAHA!!

UPDATE: Just an example of some other "merchandise" other than Pamela's own....she seems to have no trouble with any of Robert Spencer's sold here.

Yes, so much less offensive than someone's name and picture on a shoe. But wait, we can't forget the idiotic calendar and other merchandise being sold by Gates of Vienna....

NO!! NOT SHOES!! AHHHHHHHH!!!

Atlas Shrieks Pic & Quote of the Week

No, it's not one of her trying to drape herself over some supposed hero of hers, it's this:

Yes, we all get it, as if it's not repeated enough at Atlas Shrugs, President Obama's father was from Kenya. The whole world seems to know this fact, but why it bothers Pamela is beyond me except that--stop the presses!!-- Obama Senior was Muslim. And so was Obama's step-father. And the Muslims of Indonesia where Obama spent part of his childhood. Yes, these simple facts are presented time and again, every time Pamela wants to try and claim that Obama is either a Muslim or that his goal is to "advance Muslim agendas".

In any case, Pamela Geller has found a like-minded individual at this protest. Why can these people not get over the fact that our current President is the son of a foreigner? Isn't integration and success in America, no matter where we come from, one of the sacred cows of the right? The whole "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" mentality? Not that this isn't held up as a value by leftists, it's simply not repeated as much. These people praise Bobby Jindal for his "heritage" in the same sentence that they damn Obama. Just listen to the Sean Hannity Show or Michael Savage. Everyone is entitled to their own fresh start in this nation--except Obama.

And speaking of like minded individuals (a scary thought in of itself), here's the comment of the week, from the same post at AS:

This is awesome! Yes they are getting bigger. I for one will go to any gathering and give my displeasure as well. Obingo needs to go to Africa and run that Country. Cannot believe an illegal Marxist is Leading our Country. He is a disgrace. I would say other words but will be a lady. I detest that man. Not one thing about him that I like. Him and his radical wife. They both need to get out. Can't imagine what they have done to the White House. Or is it still called the White House?

Posted by: sheebe | Thursday, May 14, 2009 at 10:42 PM
(emphasis mine)

So thank you Pamela and Atlas Shrugs for such a grand photo of the week, your alliances in the past week (see post below on her article in Israel National News) and the obligatory "is the White House still white" spew that has become standard fare for these anti-Obama posts.

Pammycakes Asks For Comments: OK!

Pamela is still milking her "Mission Accomplished" article, this time in Israel National News. "Normal is the new enemy", she claims.

At any rate, she asks in her post not for much--just for readers to go leave a comment at the new site hosting her article. No problem, Pammy! Comments galore! So I'm asking my readers to do the same. Go leave a comment!

What's With Digg?

Well, somehow this site has gone from having over 250 Diggs (as a site, not each post) to SEVEN. I doubt if it's the lizards, as I have too much more negative to say about our common enemies. What's the deal? I know far too little about Digg. Any thoughts?

So, What Was It About Filip Dewinter Again?

Wow. Pamela Geller just posted the speech of Filip Dewinter in Koln at the 'conference' that has become such a sticking point between the Blog War blogs. Being a "Stop the Islamization" gathering, I guess I should've expected this sort of speech from Dewinter. Pamela, however, seems to think this sort of rhetoric is just dandy. Now wait, isn't she a Jew whose family was slaughtered and expelled from Europe from racists? Didn't the Nazis start out with rhetoric? Ahh, never will she see the irony. As for the speech posted at Atlas Shrugs, here are some lovely highlights:

Dear friends, multiculturalism is the Islamic Trojan horse, and mass immigration has led to our European identity and civilisation being threatened, and multiculturalism has also led to the loss of our pride in our own cultural identity and uniqueness.

The Islamisation of Europe spreads further every day, yet almost no one dares to protest through fear of the intellectual and psychological terror from the Left.

Friends, Islam is like a cuckoo which lays its eggs in the European nest, and multiculturalism forces us to nurture these Islam-eggs. The eyes of the political elites will only be opened when they are pushed out of the nest.

Yes, mass immigration from the third world threatens our identity and our standard of living.

Yes, Islam wants to dominate all of Europe, and it uses mass immigration as a terrifying weapon

Yes, Islam is incompatible with many aspects of our Western European civilisation, our norms and values.

Hey, Sphinx, are you a "terrifying weapon"? Bah, I digress. Back to the speech:

Friends, we find ourselves at a crossroads, either we let this situation continue which will lead to the Islamisation of Europe, to a kind of Eurabia, or we say a radical NO to radical Islam, and we make it clear to the Islamists that their ideology does not belong in Europe.

Our response should be strong, clear and aggressive, and I would like to quote the Austrian Bishop who said :

“Charles Martel forced Islam back at Poitiers in 732 , and in 1683 near Vienna, Islam was again forced out.

“And if it is necessary, then for a third time we should also force Islam back to the place it belongs, namely the far side of the Mediterranean Sea.”

(.....)

Dear friends, Cologne is today the capital of the European resistance movement against the Islamisation of Europe.

We do not want any Koran-schools, nor Islamic centres or mosques on every street corner.

We are tired of the women in burkas and chadors, an insult to every emancipated woman.

We are tired of the Arabic and Turkish writing on the front of shops, windows, and products.

We are disgusted by the ritual slaughter of animals.

We do not want any Islamic symbols or food or hijabs in our schools.

We want the Islamisation of our towns and districts to stop

Europe, my dear friends and comrades, is indeed a continent of castles and cathedrals, and not of minarets and mosques.

Does anyone really need anymore evidence than these words to realize that any alliance with Dewinter or his Vlaams Belang is an alliance with dangerous bigotry? I think the case is rather closed, personally.

Pics For MT

Here's a few video stills for MT Akbar, one of our bloggers, of Robert Spencer. Just for kicks....HAHAHA....

Baron & Dymphna's Dramatic Exit from the IBA

AHA, just the post I was looking for. Absurdity bottled and readily consumed by you, my readers. This is the post written by Dymphna of Gates of Vienna about her and Baron Bodissey leaving the Infidel Bloggers Alliance. Why did they leave, you may ask? Could it be due to the beginning of The Great Soap Opera? Why, let's have a bit of a look:

With regret, the Baron and I are withdrawing from participation in the Infidel Bloggers Alliance. This is a sad moment, because we enjoyed our time there; it was often rewarding to take part in a forum with other anti-jihad contributors.

Although we have had our disagreements of late, this is not the reason for our departure. Unfortunately, a very recent change in the rules regarding posting there has guaranteed that the administrators’ post-dating of particular articles would make then appear at the top — even if ours was a more recent post.

When someone changes the rules in the game without prior notice, it means it’s time to go, because the meta-rule of courtesy — i.e., no changes without notice — has been violated.

It’s understandable that the blog administrators wanted to guarantee prominence for certain posts. However, since we were not allowed to post-date our own essays, this meant that our freshly-posted material sometimes appeared far down the page. So what would be the point of anyone else posting at all?

The other day when the Baron put up a post at IBA it appeared as the fourth post, way down the page. It may not have been the intention of the administrators to punish unwelcome opinions by lowering their visibility, but it nevertheless had that effect. Just an unintended consequence, but not one I am willing to tolerate.

AHA! No, after all of the bickering and such, it all ended, this lovely relationship, because Baron wanted to post-date his pieces so they'd remain topside. At least that's how the debate raged at the time, and I'll have to find the link to the IBA version of this. Just another brick in a tumbling wall. OK, let the wars recommence!

The Disaster of Late 2007--The IBA Version

I'm dragging you all now back in time to when the Vlaams Belang was only starting to be discussed, fresh after the "Brussels Summit". Aside from Fjordman's piece, we are taking a blogging field trip to November 2007 to the Infidel Bloggers Alliance (IBA), and I certainly hope you enjoy the ride.

Another blast from the past bit of history on the wars can be found in an essay by "Fjordman", My Farewell to Little Green Footballs:

Whenever a previously good relationship breaks down, it can be difficult to remember why it used to be good in the first place. I initially signed up to Little Green Footballs because it was, and still is, one of the best sites on the web to dig up news about the global Jihad. Charles Johnson has done an excellent job at this, and many people have gained more insight from stories posted at his website. One should give credit where credit is due. Johnson has also linked to some of my essays in the past, and I have no doubt gained readers via the network connected to LGF, for which I am grateful. Although the comments section there can be a noisy place and frequently more entertaining than actually enlightening, there are a number of individual posters there that I still respect. So far so good. Now comes the bad part.

I am deeply disappointed by how Charles Johnson has handled this situation. It was dishonest when he presented the Vlaams Belang in Belgium as refusing to denounce the Holocaust. The truth is that the European Union is directly responsible for much of the resurgence of anti-Semitism in Europe, both by importing Muslims and by appeasing Jihad at home and abroad. The EU hardly cares about live Jews, certainly not about dead ones. The Holocaust is shamelessly exploited as an excuse for creating an artificial superstate and above all for imposing restrictions on free speech for everybody who wants to oppose this project. That's what the VB objected to in this case.

And while it's hard to just pick one post from the month's worth of posts in November 2007 at the Infidel Bloggers Alliance (IBA), I'll link that month here as well as one post from it. I'm just doing some background for new readers here. Here's an excerpt from a post by Epaminondas:

Time to end it
As the civil war over Vlaams Belang (not the compulsory Counterjihad conference) mutates into a degrading slime of personal condescension, superiority, arrogance, venom, vendetta, ego, paranoia and silliness we can all see this takes on a life of it's own, apart from the issues, which by themselves, on the facts are not capable of changing our minds, hearts or suspicions.

Definitely a "time to end it", but no, it's still raging. Absurdity at its greatest! And here's Baron prior to his blustering departure from the IBA (which I will find shortly):

I can’t see into
Filip Dewinter’s heart. Perhaps he hates Jews, but finds it expedient to court them. Perhaps he used to feel differently in his youth, but has outgrown such a position, just as Robert Byrd has with respect to the KKK.

In any case, I take Christ’s words to heart: “By their fruits ye shall know them.”

By their fruits, Filip Dewinter and Vlaams Belang are not anti-Semitic.

As for the demand that he repudiate his alleged past: why is the above not a sufficient repudiation? Why would he need to grovel before certain Americans who know virtually nothing about him or Flanders?

Ahhh, splitting hairs was never so entertaining.

Quote and Pic of the Week

This one's from Jihad Watch:

Azov
This is only proof that nothing short of complete overpowering works with the Muslims. They must not be given time to breathe between blows. Given the time, they will find new ways to get us. Now they are trying both to poison us and get the money to finance more of their goodie activities.. No, no time to breathe to be given to Muslims !

Ahhhh, bigotry at its best. And for the pic, I have this ad that popped up at LGF the other day. Considering the Wars and all, well, just very appropriate:

Thoughts on Bruce Bawer's Defense of LGF

This is an addendum I wrote to a post on the Bruce Bawer article about the Blog Wars. Please pardon my seriousness for this post, I'll try to never let it happen again:

Addendum II: Having been a fan of Bawer's older writings, I was unaware of his more recent writings online and in his new book, "Surrender". I will hold still that he was correct in this bit here, but will hold off on any critique and certainly no endorsement of his work as of late as I have not yet read anything recent other than this piece:

Addendum:
Having had a bit more time to reexamine this article by Bawer I have noticed several great lines that I'd like to comment on. I've been a fan of Bawer since his "A Place at the Table" days and did enjoy "While Europe Slept", as it is a cry for the rights of liberal freedoms against religious fundamentalism just as his book "Stealing Jesus" was in regards to Christian Fundamentalism in America. I didn't know he had been following the "counter-jihadosphere" this closely until this article, however. Or, as Bawer puts it,:

I can testify that in the last couple of years some significant, and lamentable, shifts have taken place on the anti-jihad front. Writers and bloggers whom, not very long ago, I would unhesitatingly have described as staunch defenders of liberal values against Islamofascist intolerance have more recently said and done things that have dismayed me, and that, in many cases, have compelled me to re-examine my view of them
.

Another shift towards ultra-conservatism:

Once upon a time, these people made a point of distancing themselves from far-right European parties such as Belgium’s Vlaams Belang – whose most prominent Internet voice, Paul Belien, has declared himself to be fighting for “Judeo-Christian morality” not only against jihadist Islam but also against “secular humanism.” Belien has made no secret of his contempt for gay people and for the idea that they deserve human rights as much as anyone else. Now, however, many of the anti-jihadist writers who once firmly rejected Vlaams Belang have come to embrace it wholeheartedly.

This is something I hadn't realized about Belien (I rarely get over to Brussels Journal, it is really quite hard to find the time to write as much as I do on this blog as it is!), and something I find contemptible, naturally. I always find the fight against "secular humanism" amusing when joined by secular humanist writer "Ibn Warraq", something that wouldn't slip by someone like Bawer either. As for that pathetic linchpin we have seen grow in importance and even in stark humor:

for a number of anti-jihadist writers on both sides of the Atlantic, nothing short of a litmus test: in their eyes, it seems, if you’re not willing to genuflect to VB, you’re not a real anti-jihadist.

Who can really count Vlaams Belang's importance in the blogosphere except to say that it has been raised to this very importance by some self-important blow-hards as well as their scrapping over it with Johnson. The importance of the VB is merely a defense by Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller (and the as yet to be revealed in name, "Baron Bodissey") to the criticism of it by Johnson. Nothing more. Geller stopped writing me and blocked my email she was so upset by my extremely polite and pleading mails asking her to rethink her position on VB. They are just entrenched, nothing else, and Johnson made a good case against them, hence the commencing of The Great Soap Opera/The Blog Wars. After several posts on this at my other blog, I just had to start this one to chronicle the increasingly silly fight over the VB, the Brussels Summit, the schism and the harsh words. While I still find it quite humorous, this fight, I do see the importance of standing up against anti-Muslim bigotry and fascism, something all three of us here do as much as time permits. Bawer's closing:

What the hell, one is entitled to wonder, is going on here? Why has Vlaams Belang, of all things, become a veritable sacred cow for so many anti-jihadist writers? And why does at least one of them now take such a staggeringly contemptuous view of Pim Fortuyn? I can’t honestly say that I understand any of it. But I do know this: when writers who represent themselves as champions of liberty start cozying up to distinctly illiberal parties like Vlaams Belang – and when one of those supposed champions of liberty starts to sound uncomfortably like the Islamist enemies of freedom whom he purports to despise – then there’s something terribly wrong, and genuinely evil, afoot.

The trouble here, of course, is that an honest effort at combating terrorism online turned so quickly into a Muslim bashing hate fest, and in certain mentioned sectors it still is and then some. Those sinking into thoughts of forced deportation (GoV) and discussion of genocide or near genocide should be rooted out as the scum that they are. Bawer has explained his stance on Muslims in Europe (where he now lives) at length, though I've read only his book on the subject and not his blog other than this post. I certainly agree with him on this one, but I'm shocked, surprised that we've been linked in a Guardian online piece, that Bruce Bawer and other major writers have noticed this little Blog War, that my little goofy niche has become something of note at all. So be it, we'll continue along, and I'm quite thankful for Bawer's words on this subject which highlight the serious nature of the tossing out of liberties that we gloss over here in our quest to stay light-hearted and goofy. With that said, let me get back to that silliness and leave the seriousness to the others. Adieu.

Johnson Right Again

Pammy's Comments Go For LGF's Throat

Well, we knew that Pamela Geller would be posting on the Pro-Koln Demonstration, and that she has now done with nary a mention of Charles and LGF. Her commentators are a different story, however. First, her post, and her sorrow over the demonstrators being outnumbered by the counter-demonstrators. I'm serious. I can't make up this tripe, Pamela's posts are always pure gold:

Gates of Vienna has reportage on the skewed coverage here. The media bias is clear. The Baron notes, "Notice the discrepancy in numbers between this version and the first-hand report I posted earlier today. The media would like readers to believe that Pro-Köln is a pathetic and insignificant political force, 300 versus the 1,600 “anti-fascists”."

What’s more, the number of police is more than twice the number of demonstrators and counter-demonstrators combined.

I feel sorry for these desperate people. They are being overwhelmed.
(emphasis mine)

She feels sorry for "these desperate people"? Is she nuts? No, wait, don't bother answering that one. One thing about her being nuts is that her commenters are even nuttier, and this time they're after Charles and LGF:

http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/33619_Pro-Koln_Fascist_Update_-_Day_Two_Another_Bust/comments/#ctop

Here's the link if anyone's interested in watching a mad ma, charles, go full on crazy by pretending not to see wahabbi muslims in any of those photos in the article he linked to. What a crazy fucker, you guys are better off without his in this movement. He's lurched to far to the left, and is borderline crazy.

Check out picture #7, Charles Johnson doesn't think this man is promoting Islam. This is too funny. I only wish I could create another LGF account on his far left site and that would really make my day, no wait I do have another account!!! LOL!!!

This guy actually posted quite a bit, but all quotes from LGF such as these:

And then I get banned!!!!! HA HA HAHA HAHAHAAH!! As if it's really ruined my Sunday.
At least I can sleep better at night knowing that I will never march with the Muslim supremacists which Charles is doing right now.

if you cannot see Wahhabi muslims in those 31 photos then may I recommend a good optician? Or a psychiatrist? Or one of Mr Spencer's books?

And with that, you can just piss off.

Listen Sockpuppet. There were many people counter protesting these creeps and it perhaps it included Islamists. If you feel that you would be more comfortable with the White Supremacists than perhaps you would be more comfortable at another blog like Gate of Vienna.

Huh, Charles is looking better all the time. Has he mended his former ways? I'll update the Jihad Watch reaction when I find it (or when Jeppo does...LOL).

Gates of Vienna Giddy Over Pro-Köln; Update from LGF

Here's a snippet of the never-ending coverage of the Pro-Koln event over at Gates of Vienna, which I've been rather remiss in covering this last week. Please forgive me readers, there has been rather a lot going on here. At any rate, here's Baron Oddity on some pieces about Pro-Koln:

Pro-Köln is a prominent anti-Islamization organization in Germany, part of the larger Pro-movement. Last September it scheduled an Anti-Islamization Congress in Cologne, which was canceled by the authorities before it even got started, thanks to violent attacks by “anti-fascists” with the collusion of the city government.

Pro-Köln rescheduled the event for tomorrow, May 9th, and has experienced renewed resistance from the authorities as well as negative publicity in the media as the day grows closer....

....When I posted about this a couple of weeks ago, I referred to the “dubious connections” of Pro-Köln.

I hate that word: “dubious”. It tells the reader to be nervous and uneasy, but fails to specify what the disturbing facts are.

Of course Baron would hate the word "dubious", as it applies to his entire philosophy and blog. His reasoning is certainly of the "dubious" sort, as is his printing of both the German and English translation of this piece that involves some of our Cast of Characters in our Blog Soap Opera:

Dhimmi Propaganda Against Pro-Köln

Immediately after publishing the names of Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, Paul Belien, and Lars Hedegaard as guests of the new Anti-Islamization Congress in Cologne, the lobbyists of German dhimmi parties and extreme left-wing groups started a psychological warfare attack: Pro-Köln — so goes the leftwing propaganda — are neo-Nazis, have contacts with neo-Nazis! The truth couldn’t be farther away: the German neo-Nazi scene attacks Pro-Köln as “Zionists”, as “men of the system”. The prominent German neo-Nazi-Party NPD attacked Pro-Köln, too, and declared Pro-Köln to be the “main enemy”.

“Our growing reputation in the midst of society has also caused the growth of hatred of the dhimmi parties and left wing groups against Pro-Köln,” declares Manfred Rouhs, Pro-Köln member of the city council.

Aha! "Dhimmi" and "left-wing" propaganda! That's all this boils down to, not even remotely any hand-wringing or sincere worry about a load of fascists promoting their own propaganda and meeting up to further their aims. Silly me. These are the same people who are either crying that the sky is falling or meeting up to try and expel Muslims from Europe with their laptops. Never fear that they've moved beyond laptops and are actually meeting, how dare we besmirch their sacred names! And how dare we keep taking their nonsensical switch from wanting to protect "dhimmis" to using the word as an epithet. Not to mention that last line, that a Pro-Köln member is on the city council. How dare we not oppose them?

UPDATE: Charles over at LGF has an update on Pro-Koln:

The gathering of extreme right wing Eurofascist groups (including representatives from Belgium’s Vlaams Belang and France’s Front National) billing itself as the “Pro-Köln Anti-Islamization Congress” wrapped up their event today, with another miserable failure.

They promised thousands of supporters would show up, but on the last day the total was about ... 200 fascist sympathizers, from Austria, Belgium, France, Spain, Czech Republic, and Germany, with at least 4,000 counter-protesters.

These are the people the so-called “anti-jihad” bloggers say we must make alliances with, in order to save Western civilization: 200 pathetic losers, renounced by every decent person in Köln.

If the fools who believe Pro-Köln and Vlaams Belang and the other Eurofascist groups are “pro-Israel” had their way, the anti-Zionists who smear Israel as a “fascist” state would have had a propaganda windfall — “see! Zionism really is the same as Nazism!” And they would have had photos of Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer sharing a stage with Filip DeWinter and the other fascists to prove it.

Meanwhile, five days after Bruce Bawer posted his denunciation of the “anti-jihadists” who are jumping into bed with fascists, still not a word about it on Jihad Watch, Atlas Shrugs, or Gates of Vienna. Nothing but craven silence from that bunch, as they hope to make it disappear by ignoring it.

I didn't think I'd be praising Charles Johnson's stance when I started this blog, but this post is right on the money. Almost what I had written about the GoV post, to be honest, a similarity I didn't think I'd be sharing at all. I do wish that Charles' wish from earlier had been so, that no one would've discouraged (to put it lightly) Pam & Bob to go and to have then piled on the criticism once they were there living it up with Front National. Incoming lizard comments:

What's pathetic is pamela is reporting this as though these are brave souls facing down the idiot commies. If these folks are so gosh darn fantastic- I wonder why she cancelled her speaking gig?

I'll check Pammycakes' coverage shortly....

re: #9 buzzsawmonkey

Is Pam Geller part of the pro-Koln harem?

This is the conference that her and bob had to cancel speaking to, even though they're not nazis (because they said so!) and you can get hitler books on amazon.

Crazy Pam put up a thread about the demonstration this morning. I googled the speakers and thier parties. Many were affiliated in some way with Le Penn's FN.
I also found a program for the conference in French. It looked like many of the speeches were anti-American with titles such as "Uncle Sam is in a coma". GoV put up a thread addressing the antiAmerican tone at the conference, defending it as understandable resentment.

Actually, Pammy's coverage is here, but I'll get to that later. I really do have a life, I promise.
