In yet another post praising the European neofascist group Vlaams Belang, Pamela Geller reveals that she wants me publicly flogged, and I’m fairly sure she’s serious.
Since this is coming from the shrieking lunatic who thinks Barack Obama is the love child of Malcolm X, I guess I should take it as a compliment. Stay as classy as you are, Pamela!

I'm still shocked that she veered off into where ever she is these days. I used to email with her years ago and she was so sweet and kind. Very strange transformation.

I have to disagree - NO ONE WHO TRULY SUPPORTS ISRAEL could make common league with Fascists of any stripe.
And there are some of the European brand who only support the State of Israel so they'll be someplace to deport European Jews to when (God forbid) they come to power.

My take is that she and RS are primarily interested in installing themselves as King and Queen of a movement that they (and only they) have invented. There are a lot of good people doing good things in the name of counterjihad (and have been for years), but to get in their particular club you have to be pure on their terms.

Charles posted that the good guy counter-jihadist's needed to be careful to not allow themselves to be used to burnish the image of the White Nationalists/Neo-Nazi's in Europe who also attended the conference. THAT'S ALL CHARLES SAID: "BE CAREFUL". Pamela - who could easily have contacted Charles privately, immediately posted a full tilt boogie attack on Charles and went so far as to say Charles was in league with CAIR!

The fact that PG thinks Charles caused a "lost year" single handily speaks volumes. Pam's horror at the prospect of creeping Islam has made her a bit hysterical, but the sources referred to on her site are often worth consideration.
As far as flogging goes, I wouldn't take her literally.

I don't think she reads LGF to actually learn anything meaningfu. She's become a useful tool, about her naivete to follow, support, and ferociously condone anything that RS says and does. Even when it's blatantly obvious that RS is sleeping with the enemy.

The more I've read of her shenanigans, I agree with you.
Reading isn't really required- just go to her site sometime and count the number of pictures of herself that are posted vs. the number of pictures dealing with whatever event she's attending. She'll be in 80% of the pics.

Umm, shouldn't that be "Charles Strikes Pamela Like Thunderbolt", rather than thunderball? Unless of course you're referencing the James Bond movie. Sorry for being such an anal nit-picker, but that's just the way some of us obsessive-compulsive types roll LOL.
Anyway, an interesting backstory to the LGF-Atlas feud is that they are almost tied in the voting for the 2008 Weblog Awards (Please vote for Small Dead Animals. Props to my homegirl Kate!) When I last checked, Atlas was a nose ahead of LGF, 5,290 to 5,169. Some lizards are desperately pleading for votes so that they're not humiliated by Evil Pammy.
Also the links to LGF in my previous comments seem to be working. Was that always the case? I'm sure that just by bringing it up I'm going to jinx it!
This is marvelous. Rather like watching the infighting that takes place amongst jihadis. Perhaps, with a little bit of luck, extremists will cannibalize themselves sufficiently that they will simply peter out. Rather like small pox. Yes, "the blood of millions" will no doubt run in the streets because of the slightly different political leaning of Charles "I am ever so important" Johnson -- no over-inflated sense of self on the part of these folks. The consolation, of course, is that after allowing such bloodshed his public flogging will offset the horror. An egomaniac is an egomaniac is an egomaniac. And their great secret, worn openly as it is, is that their principle weapon is not the pen, but an overabundance of hot gas.
I'm actually sort of undecided as to who the bigger egomaniac is in this particular fight. Ah well, until I decide, pass the popcorn, eh?

By the way, I'm voting for the shrieking harpy in the Web Log Awards and you should too. The more the balance of "counterjihadi" power shifts to the tinfoil hat brigade, the more marginalized the entire tendency will become. This needs to happen if we're ever going to address the problem of extremist Islam with anything other than cluster bombs. It's the same reason I love to see the adoration of Gov. Palin on the right wing. Let the crazies weed themselves out.
